Motor Home Finders Launches Its New Brand In Small Runs.

“Shorter runs also allow us to make changes in the copy or art if we need to,” said Green. “Why print thousands when you only need a few? It’s just more environmentally responsible as well.”

When you buy and sell luxury RVs for a living, what do you do for fun?  If you’re Fred and Cindy Green of Dade City-based Motor Home Finders, you buy one from your inventory and head out for a summer of adventure.  Which is exactly how they spent their July – out on the road visiting family and friends and meeting new prospects.

As anyone who has ever traveled in an RV knows, even the most luxurious coaches have space limitations.  So rather than print up thousands of their new brochures, flyers, business cards and letterhead, they opted for small runs of 250 each so they could continue to promote their new brand while out on the road without sacrificing precious storage space.

“With two people and two dogs, space is definitely at a premium, even in our roomy diesel coach,” said Cindy Green.  “But ours isn’t a seasonal or 9-to-5 kind of business, so we still needed to mix work with pleasure and wanted to share our new look with prospects we met while on the road.  We got rave reviews.  No one would ever know this was a short-run digital printing project.  They look perfect.”

Time was, a full black color background was tough to achieve in digital printing.  But with the state-of-the-art equipment and expertise at ThinkShapes Mail, the black saturation and textured background were crisp and clear.

“Most people would be hard pressed to see the difference between this and offset printing,” said ThinkShapes Mail co-owner Karen O’Brien.  “The equipment we use today is able to reproduce just about any type of artwork and any level of color saturation.”

Once home, the Greens new identity pieces made the 1,000+ mile journey easily and gave them the opportunity to make valuable new prospect connections – without breaking the print budget or monopolizing storage space.

“Shorter runs also allow us to make changes in the copy or art if we need to,” said Green.  “Why print thousands when you only need a few?  It’s just more environmentally responsible as well.”
