ThinkShapes Mail wins a merit badge of thanks for Boy Scouts event program

The non-profit world is one where money and time are both precious commodities. When Applied Image Group needed a program guide for the annual Gulf Ridge Council Boy Scouts of America’s 8th Annual Distinguished Citizen Award Luncheon, they knew just where to turn.

The non-profit world is one where money and time are both precious commodities.  When Applied Image Group needed a program guide for the annual Gulf Ridge Council Boy Scouts of America’s 8th Annual Distinguished Citizen Award Luncheon, they knew just where to turn. 

“I needed a full-color program that would meet my client’s budget, which was very limited, and I knew short run digital was the answer.  It needed to be high quality as well, which is why I called ThinkShapes,” said Lisa Justick, account executive with Applied Image Group. 

This annual event is very important to the Gulf Ridge Council Boy Scouts of America.  Each year, they honor a local civic leader whose contributions have made a difference in the community.  This year, Oscar Horton of Sunstate International, Inc. won the 2013 Distinguished Citizen Award.  He was joined by more than 300 local business leaders, including Willie Daggett, the new head coach of the USF Bulls football team and the day’s keynote speaker.   Such a high profile event required a high quality program, but one that wouldn’t drain too many funds from the Council’s mission.

“I was facing a very tight deadline, limited funds, and a need for quality,” said Justick.  “I had confidence ThinkShapes Mail could deliver and they did.” 

The piece was extremely well received and Applied Image Group’s client received many compliments on the program.
